What is Agile Shaala @home?

Agile Shaala is an integrated learning community where the child will learn at home using our activity kits, learning through games and reference books. They will be mentored by our team and will have regular online interactive sessions for group learning/activities.

What is blended learning?

A well-balanced combination of online and hands-on learning. Agile Shaala provides resources for experiential learning as well as online interactive learning sessions.

How will the agile hand-holding work?

Agile methodology involves regular planning and reflection in order to accommodate changes and improvise. We will follow the well-known Scrum methodology in our learning journey. Each family will work as a team. Each team will maintain a storyboard of learning activities and progress. There will be daily scrum meetings, where there will be scope for reflection and improvisation on an everyday basis. Weekly “scrum of scrum” meetings will be conducted between 3-4 scrum families and will provide a space for discussions and support between the community members.

How does an typical week of learning go about at Agile Shaala?

Each family will be a scrum team

    • They will be have a daily stand up meeting at the beginning of the day, and end of the day.
    • They will maintain scrum storyboard.
    • Each sprint will be of one week duration.

Weekly group meet

    • Three scrum teams along  with learning coach

What are the learning resources that will be provided?

Age-appropriate resources which include, but not limited to, Phenomenon based learning activity kits, Board games and Card games, puzzles, reference books and access to digital learning games and worksheets.

What is phenomenon-based learning?

What does gamified curriculum mean?

Specially designed board games, card games and digital games will be used to learn and improvise language and mathematical skills. The children learn while they play.

How much time on an average is the parent/adult expected to spend with the child per day for Agile Shaala program?

The parents would be ideally required to spend 2 hours per day with the child at a time convenient to the respective family team.

What age groups does Agile Shaala support?

We hand-hold children from ages 6 through 18 years.

Which board exams will 10th and 12th Std students write?

Students will be trained for NIOS board exams.

What are the subjects offered?

Subjects supported include, but not limited to, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, English, Hindi and Kannada.

Is there a cancellation policy?

We recommend the parents try the program for a minimum of two months, before taking a call on discontinuing. So, you can discontinue after two months. Refund will be provided if a notice is provided a month in advance.
